About Me
I came to this work through my own experience with anxiety. There was a time when cycles of anxiety and depression made my world feel much smaller than it is today. Having recently navigated a significant health-related identity shift, I bring a deep, personal empathy to the work of reconnecting with yourself and building a life that feels authentic to who you are now.
Living with these changes has been a profound teacher. It has taught me—in a way no textbook could—what it means to inhabit a body that feels different than it used to, and how to find your footing when your internal world feels like it has shifted off its axis. It’s because of these experiences that it means so much to me to support people as they begin to expand again—into themselves, their relationships, and their environments.
My Approach
In my previous career as an educator, I saw how much relationships shape us and how vital emotional safety is before any real change can happen. Today, that safety is the cornerstone of my practice. I aim to balance a deep sense of security within those small internal shifts that lead to long-term growth.
I work with humor, lightness, and humility. I bring a systems-based lens to our sessions, meaning we look at the bigger picture of what has shaped you, rather than focusing on what is “wrong” with you. I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, and clients often tell me that I’m easy to talk to—even when we’re navigating the "strange" or hard-to-put-into-words parts of the healing process.
Outside the Office I am a firm believer that play is a vital part of being human. When I’m not working, I’m usually at home with my husband, our two dogs, and our chubby cat. You can often find me reading, performing improv comedy, or learning to play the guitar—badly, perhaps, but always with feeling.
